Complete 40 supervised client treatments
For clinical experience, NADA considers each treatment to be one clinical hour.
Trainees often treat multiple clients during any one clock-hour period. NADA considers 40 directly
supervised client treatments and/or 40 clinical hours as good models of clinical
standards.
Trainees have three months from the end of the classroom training to finish their clinical
practicum. Experience shows that the longer a trainee waits to engage with the clinical practice, the less likely they are to finish the training. If you need more time, please reach out to Tara.
Ears will be emailed to Tara in sets of ten. YOU WILL NEED PHOTOS OF EACH EAR
THAT ARE CLEAR WITH GOOD LIGHTING. Tara will send feedback of your
placement. If you continuously have placement that needs work, you may be asked to
do more sets of ears to show you know the correct placement.
Once the treatment record has been fully completed, you will upload the treatment
record to acudetox.com
