I have listed each of the Certification Requirements individually within this Requirements for Certification Section of Google Classroom for clarity and understanding. All Certification Requirements are also listed in your Syllabus.
Requirement for Certificate of Completion:
- Attend each zoom meeting before the in-person training
- Complete all readings & homework in this classroom
- Attend in person two-day training
- Complete and submit the Membership Application
- Complete and submit the NADA Ethics Pledge
- Complete 40 Supervised Acudetox Treatments (complete within three months of this training)
Once the above requirements are met, contact Tara who will want to connect with the individual who has supervised you and/or observe you provide an entire Acudetox treatment (can be done over Zoom). If the trainee demonstrates required competencies, Tara will recommend NADA issue a Certificate of Training Completion as an Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist. The Training Completion Certificate indicates successful completion of NADA training and demonstration of entry-level skills. NADA does not provide initial or ongoing certification of ADSes.
Occasionally applicants are not able to demonstrate the required competencies even upon completion of the required hours of training. Such applicants will not be eligible to receive a certificate until they do so. Individuals may work with a Registered Trainer to identify deficits and in partnership create a plan that will allow the individuals to achieve appropriate mastery of the materials and techniques.
You are welcome to ‘Mark as Done’ each of the other requirements once they have been completed, if this is helpful to you in your Google Classroom organization.
